Effective Safeguarding Training

Drawing on my experience as a former Ofsted Early Years Regulatory Inspector and work within children’s services, I support early years teams to develop strong safeguarding practice – going beyond knowing policies to understanding how to recognise, respond to and act on safeguarding concerns. 

 

Effective early years safeguarding goes beyond recognising the signs of abuse. Strong safeguarding practice means understanding child protection, identifying risk and knowing how to respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns.
